A complex sandwich with... termites!

“There’s wings everywhere!” What happens when you make a toasted termite sandwich in Kenya…

In the video below, chef Ben Reade cooks the termites, which can be gathered in many ways. (See him do it in one of many traditional methods here.)

This footage shot for BUGS the film shows Ben making a termite sandwich with egg and coleslaw – first toasting the small insects in a frying pan which fills the air with wings.
